Greater Portland Medical Office is looking for a Temp to Hire Front Office Assistant. This individual is responsible for performing all aspects of front-office operations, to include reception, insurance verification and medical records duties. The Office Assistant is the first person a patient interacts with over the phone or upon arrival. This individual ensures efficient services for the physicians and quality service to the patients.
Duties include ( but are not limited to) scheduling patients, obtains pertinent billing/insurance information, creates new patient charts, scans patient insurance cards, performs clerical and secretarial duties as required by the physicians and assists with ordering office supplies, forms and stationary. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, have excellent customer service and phone skills, strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Prior medical office experience is also desired. $12-14/hr.

Apothecary by Design is seeking a full-time experienced patient coordinator for our specialty pharmacy services division. Apothecary by Design is an integrated pharmacy specializing in retail, compounding, and specialty pharmacy services as well as nutritional health and well-being products. Our clinical team of pharmacists, nurses, patient coordinators and pharmacy technicians work closely with patients and their practitioners to coordinate the delivery of services, support their medication therapy management, advocate on their behalf within the health care system as well as educate and monitor side effects, interactions and nutrient depletions.
Patient Coordinators work pro-actively with our patients, provider offices and clients via the telephone to compassionately and efficiently coordinate medication order deliveries, medication adherence services, provider support and overall customer service for specialty medications. In addition, the Patient Coordinator has a very thorough knowledge of client accounts, insurance benefit investigation, and specialty operations to ensure that our patients are maximizing the integrated pharmacy services provided by Apothecary by Design.
